Divine Prehistoria is a 100 × 100 cm textured painting formed through layered material work in earthy tonalities, where deep blacks and aged bronze sit beneath a resin-finished surface. The result is a sculptural 3D presence, where light moves across the glossed top layer while the texture beneath remains visible and grounded.
The surface carries a natural tension between raw material depth and refined finish, creating a sense of aged, elemental form. The resin adds clarity and subtle reflection, enhancing the dimensional quality without flattening the underlying structure.
Each piece is individually handcrafted by me in my England studio, built slowly in layers to ensure variation, depth, and a unique physical surface. The edges are fully resolved, allowing the work to be displayed without a frame.
