Alabaster Crust is a hand-crafted sculptural wall artwork measuring 91×61cm, created in England through a heavily textured surface built on stretched canvas. Developed using a strong, structural medium, the piece carries a dense tactile structure where light settles softly across its raised forms, revealing subtle variations in relief and depth rather than contrast in colour. Finished in a clean white tone, the surface feels quiet and architectural, with an organic texture that brings presence without visual weight.
Each piece is individually made by hand, ensuring natural variation and reinforcing its identity as a unique original rather than a reproduced design. The texture extends across the full surface, including the edges, meaning there is no requirement for framing, as the artwork resolves fully from every angle as a sculptural object on the wall.
Alabaster Crust is suited to contemporary interiors where restraint, texture, and material honesty define the space. It sits naturally in minimalist, neutral, or gallery-style environments where surface and light become the focal point. Custom dimensions and colour variations, including bold tones, can be created on request, with each commission developed individually to suit the intended interior.
